Biography

Dr. Khaled Rashad is a licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Cairo University in 1986 and worked at the Trauma Department at Cairo University Hospital before he came to the United States in 1992. He received his master’s degree in physical therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. In 1999 he became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in orthopedic and sports physical therapy (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. Dr. Rashad accomplished his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University in 2007. He received multiple certifications for dry needling therapy, Kinesio-taping, and soft tissue mobilization. He has a passion for improving the quality of life for his patients through manual therapy and functional exercises. Currently, he is the clinical instructor and the CEO of Liberty Physical Therapy. Clinical instructor and mentor to current physical therapy students, as well as students interested in physical therapy as a professional career from the PT program at Morton College of Health and Science.
